Pinecrest Pioneers Happiness-Driven Governance
The Village of Pinecrest released its Happiness Report, showing 73% of residents are happy while identifying areas for improvement. As the first U.S. city in the World Happiness Foundation's Cities of Happiness Initiative, Pinecrest launched the Happy Pinecrest People Initiative (HaPPI) in March 2024. Over 350 residents have joined workshops, focus groups, and surveys to strengthen community ties. Pinecrest will highlight its commitment by hosting World Happiness Fest 2025 on March 20–21 at Pinecrest Gardens.
